Ginger Walnut Biscuits

December 16, 2022 By sue Leave a Comment

I have developed a great liking for walnuts after being put off in the past by ones that were really past their best. There is nothing like the taste of a fresh walnut and you may have noticed that I have been making lots of different recipes using them recently (see bottom of post for links to walnut recipes). Today’s recipe is an easy to make Ginger Walnut Biscuits recipe.

125g butter
1/3 cup white sugar
1 tbsp golden syrup
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Cream the butter and sugar. Mix in the golden syrup and dry ingredients. Then stir in the walnuts.

Put tablespoonsful of the biscuit mixture onto a baking tray. Flatten with a fork.

Bake at 150C for 25 minutes or until golden.
