When life gives you persimmons … make Grilled Persimmons with Pomegranate Molasses.
As with most fruit in the garden, persimmons tend to all come at once so having a supply of recipes for using them on hand is a good idea.
This recipe couldn’t be easier.
Start with as many persimmons as you think you will need for the number of people you will be serving.
Peel persimmons and slice into thin wedges.
Place persimmon wedges into an ovenproof dish and drizzle well with pomegranate molasses.
Put under the grill for about 5 minutes or until just starting to turn brown and the fruit is tender.
Serve hot or cold with yoghurt or mascarpone.
