Namibia, Botswana & Victoria Falls

October 26, 2025 By sue Leave a Comment

We travelled with Bunnik Tours on their Namibia, Botswana & Victoria Falls 23 day tour.

From the towering, sun-kissed dunes of Sossusvlei to thrilling wildlife encounters, this journey has it all. Experience wet safaris on the Chobe River, dry safaris through Etosha’s expansive plains and explore the lush Okavango Delta. Feel the awe-inspiring power of Victoria Falls, where nature’s grandeur leaves you breathless at every turn.

  • Marvel at the vast, sun-drenched dunes of Sossusvlei and the haunting beauty of Deadvlei, where nature’s timeless landscapes offer a peaceful, awe-inspiring escape.
  • Cruise along the serene beauty of Walvis Bay, where gentle waves meet quiet beaches and playful seals.
  • Take a scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, where tranquil waters, lush landscapes and abundant wildlife offer an escape into nature’s untouched beauty.
  • Sail along the Chobe River, where elephants and other animals wander freely by the water’s edge, giving you front-row seats to Africa’s majestic wildlife in their natural habitat.

  • Into the heart of Namibia’s Dunes: The Namib Desert might be the oldest and driest on earth, but trust us, it’s one of the most jaw-dropping places you’ll ever see. Home to the world’s highest sand dunes and astounding granite formations, we’ll be exploring Sossusvlei’s red dunes and the unreal beauty of the Dead Vlei, where ancient trees have stood for about 900 years. We’ll cruise Walvis Bay and and meet the vibrant Himba people who’ll share their rich culture and tradtions. Then, we’ll head north to Etosha National Park, a wildlife wonderland, before winding down in the bird-filled flood plains of the Kavango region.

  • Explore Botswana’s Untamed Paradise: Botswana is a nature lover’s dream, and you’ll see why. We’ll take to the skies over the Okavango Delta, the world’s largest inland delta where sprawling waterways, white claypans and palm-lined lagoons stretch endlessly. But it’s not just the views that will leave you in awe – there’s plenty of wildlife too. We’ll explore Chobe National Park, home to the highest concentration of elephants in the world and camp at Morena Game Reserve. The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans offer surreal beauty and later, enjoy a safari along the Chobe River  spotting hippos elephants and exotic birdlife that paint the perfect picture of this paradise!

  • Thunderous Beauty of Victoria Falls: What better way to wrap up our adventure than with a visit to Victoria Falls? Known as “The Smoke that Thunders”, this awe-inspiring natural wonder is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, straddling the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. We’ll stroll through all 16 viewpoints, feeling the mist and marvelling at the breath-taking views. Next we’ll dive into the fascinating history of the Victoria Falls Bridge during an informative and fun bridge walk. And for a light-hearted touch we’ll be entertained by a George Imbault impersonator – the legendary engineer behind the bridge’s design.
