Lemon Gelato and Blueberry Buttermilk Sherbet

After my previous success with Rose & Raspberry Sorbet, I wanted to try my hand at gelato and sherbet to see what the difference was between them all. Whey Crepes with Homemade Ricotta and Seasonal Fruit

I described my first attempt at cheese making in an earlier post. I made a deliciously simple whole milk ricotta cheese and had the benefit of some nutritious whey as well.  I was keen to find a recipe that would use both of these, so was delighted when I discovered a recipe for whey crepes served with ricotta cheese and fruit - perfect for a weekend breakfast.
